Soundboxes (5 pics)

Sound box: the material

You need :

  • Tin cans open on both sides
  • One balloon per box
  • 1 skein of cotton to embroider
  • Electricity adhesive rolls: one red and one blue
  • Adhesive stickers in bright colors
  • Scissors

Soundbox: Step 1

  • Cut the end of the tube-side balloon.
  • Form the zipper of the sound box: pinch the other end of the balloon and wrap several turns of cotton to be stitched tight a few millimeters from the edge.
  • Tie tight and cut the ends of cotton.

Soundbox: Step 2

  • Stretch the balloon over the top of the can and hold it in position by wrapping color tape straddling the fitting.
  • Pull on the adhesive to stretch it out.

Soundbox: Step 3

  • Stick other lengths of adhesive tapes to decorate the body of the box and finish with some stickers arranged in sowing.

Sound box: tips +

Tips +

Nice opening

  • If you used a safety can opener to open the canned food, the edges will not cut. Otherwise, stick a length of ribbon on each edge for better security.

Conductor

  • Each box size has its own sound. To produce it, pull and release the "zipper?" But also make models without zipper. You just have to tap or rub the tense balloon surface to play music.
